Our Youth in Time of War
This document released to Adventist young people by the SDA General Conference before World War II shows the difficult position the denomination saw itself in and the compromises made to try to accommodate the government and faith. Certainly the people were placed in a terrible position.
The book, Seventh-day Adventists in Time of War, by Francis McLellan Wilcox, published in 1936, containing the same and many additional arguments, can be seen at http://books.google.com/books?id=nHOCHkJWqNkC&dq=%22Seventh-day+Adventists+in+time+of+war%22&printsec=frontcover&source=bl&ots=pHgjt64auW&sig=yJexH8lYlj_lV8-Q4Bf2LCcIoxc&hl=en&ei=HzbNSerxI4nYsAO12dm4Cg&sa=X&oi=book_result&resnum=2&ct=result#PPA5,M1
